Hallowe'en and Guy Fawkes Night

< On October 31st, we celebrate Halloween. >

The three days between October 31st and November 2nd see pagan and Christian celebrations intertwined in a fascinating way.
All Hallow's Eve, usually called Halloween(Hallows Eve), is followed by
All Hallow's Day which is also know as All Saints Day(All Hallows's Day).
The next day is All Souls' Day, and the three day period is a perfect example of superstition struggling with religious belief.


1. Halloween is always calebrated on 31st October.
2 .Fire - Fire was very important to the Celts as it was to all early people.
3. Dress up - The tradition of dressing in costume for Halloween.
4. Halloween is other name - All Halloween Eve / Samhain / All Hallowtide / The Feast of Dead / The day of the Dead
5. Halloween is correctly spell as Hallowe'en

Every year on 5th November, the anniversary og the Gunpowder Plot, Guy Fawkes is remembered.
